Alfonso, 34, has a bachelor’s in English from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles and a master’s in elementary education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. For the past two years, he has taught at a Catholic grade school in Monterey Park, California. His work experience includes a 14-year stint at Disneyland, where he piloted the monorail, sailed submarines, hawked souvenirs and danced in the Christmas Fantasy Parade. (California Province)
